Wedding Wishing Well Poems
Wedding wishing well poems are so fun to send to a happy couple - much more than just a standard or impersonal greeting card!
Wish You Well
We want to wish you well,
We think you both are swell,
Soon you'll be man and wife,
And starting your new life.
We hope your wedding's great,
And that you celebrate,
And don't hold back at all,
And that you have a ball.
So let us say "good luck,"
May together you be stuck,
For all eternity,
And wed so happily!

I once received a wedding invitation from a couple who lived on the other side of the country. The groom-to-be was an old college friend of mine, and although I wanted to attend their wedding, I could not do so due to scheduling conflicts at home. Since we couldn't attend, we decided that we would send a lovely wedding gift to them and would include a special card to wish them the best of luck.
We chose a very nice cappuccino maker that the couple had picked out on their wedding registry and wrapped it up in beautiful silver paper. I like to make handmade bows, so I created an elaborate white ribbon to top off the gift. Once the present was all packaged and ready to send, we decided that we would also include a handmade card and that I would write a poem with wedding verses to congratulate them on their upcoming wedding.
We sent off the gift, and they were very excited about their new cappuccino maker! They sent us a thank you note a few weeks later, saying that they not only appreciated the gift, but the beautiful wrapping and the card as well!
If you can't attend a wedding, or if you just want to wish a couple well on their upcoming wedding, I think wedding wishing well poems are a wonderful choice to include with a card.
