Wedding Thank You Verses
Sending wedding thank you verses out to all of the guests that attended your wedding is a nice way to let your guests know how much you appreciated their presence. It is a sweet way to remind them what a great time they had at your wedding!

We thank you so for coming,
To our wedding - that was grand!
To have you there to share with us,
Was such a perfect plan!
It was such fun to celebrate,
At the reception, too,
And it was all the better,
Since we could share it with you.
There's really nothing nicer,
Than a lovely friend like you,
And we are very grateful,
For your friendship, sweet and true.

When I was in high school, I remember helping a friend's mother to fill out thank you cards for all of the people that attended her wedding. We wrote a standard response on all of the cards which consisted of one sentence. My friend and I would write out the sentence, and then her mother signed her name, sealed the card and sent it off.
Although I understood the need for efficiency (there were quite a few cards to send, after all), it always seemed a bit impersonal to me. I'm the type of person who really likes to take the time to write personal notes to my friends and family and who likes to spend time choosing meaningful greeting cards, etc.
I think sending this poem would be a wonderful way to thank all of the guests who attended your wedding. Poems have a way of touching people's hearts in a special way. Wedding thank you verses are the perfect way to let your guests know how much they were appreciated at your wedding!
