Of course you will send thank you notes for the gifts you received, but some people like to send thank you notes to the guests just for attending the wedding, too! I think this is a very polite and gracious thing to do, since your guests took time out of their busy schedules to go and witness your wedding and to share the day with you.
I sent thank you notes to every guest who attended my wedding, and several people told me that they appreciated my thoughtfulness. In my opinion, it was simply the polite thing to do!
There are a lot of different ways that you could thank your guests for attending your wedding. You could buy pre-printed thank you cards, you could make your own cards, or you could simply send handwritten notes to your guests.
