I can't think of a better way to respond to a wedding shower invitation than by sending wedding shower verses as a reply! It's a sweet way to acknowledge the invitation to such a special event.

I'm so pleased to be invited,
I truly am so excited,
And I surely will attend,
Because, of course, I am your friend!
A wedding shower is just grand,
And I'm sure that you have planned,
Such a great, fantastic day,
Will you show us your bouquet?
I think it will be just great,

When people send out wedding shower invitations, they often include response cards so that you can conveniently let them know if you will or won't be attending.
When you send back a response card, why not send a sweet wedding shower poem along with your reply? I think the hostess would be tickled pink to receive such a verse, and she would know that you think it's a very special day and not just an event for which you feel obligated to attend.
If I were hosting a wedding shower, I would be delighted by such a response! This poem focuses on how excited the recipient is and talks about how she appreciates the hard work the hostess has put into planning the day.
I have personally hosted a wedding shower before and I know that a lot of work goes into the planning and organizing of a shower (not to mention preparing the food and decorations), so I think any hostess would appreciate such a gesture. Wedding shower verses are a creative way to express your feelings and to reply to an invitation!
