Wedding Reception Verses
Wedding reception verses talk about the joy and celebration of a wedding reception, and they should be cheerful and light, as demonstrated in this poem!
Celebrate In Style
The couple's wed, and now it's time,
To celebrate in style,
And this reception will be great,
And go on for a while!
We'll drink champagne so happily,
And dance away the night,
The bride will swirl around the floor,
Dressed in her gown so white.
The party will be oh-so-fun,
And we will have a ball,
For weddings are such grand events,
It will be great for all!

Once the wedding ceremony is complete and the couple is officially wed, it's time for the reception! The reception is one of the best parts of a wedding, with food and drinks and, usually, a few more fun traditions, such as the cutting of the wedding cake, the tossing of the bride's garter and the tossing of the bouquet!
I love wedding receptions! I love to dance with my husband, I love to enjoy a glass of champagne and I love the delicious food that is usually provided. At a beach wedding I attended, they served grilled vegetables and pineapple on skewers, and cocktails with little umbrellas in them! It was so much fun, and the food was wonderful. At another wedding, the guests were served gorgeous little pot pies that were shaped like wedding gifts!
Receptions allow everyone to relax and simply celebrate, and I think they are the best part of a wedding. It's always so much fun to chat with the other guests, to see friends and family and, of course, to congratulate the happy couple! These wedding reception verses remind me of all the best things about a reception.
