Wedding Proposal Poems
Wedding proposal poems are often written in the proposal style, but this poem is just generally about proposals and is very charming!
Feelings True
It really doesn't matter,
Just how the groom proposed,
If he was very nervous,
Or somehow stayed composed.
On bended knee is nice,
But can be too dramatic,
But either way is fine,
And we know you were ecstatic.
For meaning is what matters,
When a man commits to you,
And no matter how he did it,
His feelings are so true!

Before I was married, I dated my husband, Michael, for two years (we had been friends for almost a decade). On our two year anniversary of dating, Michael planned a wonderful evening for us!
He cooked a gorgeous Italian dinner at his home, lit candles everywhere and even created a beautiful wonderland in his backyard. He hung white twinkle lights in the trees, set up candles along the garden pathway and had soft music playing. It was so sweet and romantic.
After dinner, we were enjoying a glass of wine and sitting out in the garden together, when he began talking about how much our relationship had improved his life. He told me that he was a happier person because of me, and that he hoped that I was happier because of him. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was so overwhelmed with love, and of course I said yes. I was so happy!
Every proposal is special, and no matter how a man chooses to propose, it is so meaningful. I think this is a good poem as far as wedding proposal poems are concerned, because it talks about how a man's feelings are at the heart of the proposal!
