Wedding Poems For Parents
If you're lucky enough to be excited about your new set of in-laws, then wedding poems for parents might be a great way to tell them how much you care!
Great Family
Our new family has started,
Life ahead can seem uncharted,
But we know you'll play your parts,
In the filling of our hearts.
Our two families, now one,
Something great has just begun,
Our wedding pulls us close,
This is what we love the most.
We are blessed so much, by far
We can truly say we are,
And we're so happy to be,
Part of this great family.

I consider myself very fortunate, because my in-laws are absolutely wonderful! They made me feel like family from the first moment that we met, and that's a great feeling. My husband, Michael, comes from a family that is slightly bigger than mine (I have one brother and one sister, and he has one sister and two brothers), and it was so much fun getting to know his siblings and his parents.
Joining two families is part of getting married. Not everyone gets along with their in-laws. I have a friend who is constantly battling with her mother-in-law. In situations like that, I know that it's hard to smooth things over sometimes, but sometimes all it takes is a little effort, and people are often willing to be friendlier or to try harder to get along.
Whether your in-laws-to-be are like old friends to you or if things are a little more difficult, it can't hurt to show them that from your side of things, you want to do all you can to get along and to enjoy the joining of the two families. Perhaps a poem like this one would be just the thing if your relationship with your in-laws-to-be is tense (and it would work equally as well if things are as easy as pie). Wedding poems for parents can do wonders!
