In my wedding, I had three bridesmaids and a maid of honor. For my maid of honor, I bought an expensive bottle of her favorite wine. For my bridesmaids, my budget was a little smaller, so I bought each of them a silver bracelet and had the bracelets engraved, and included a poem with the gifts. I wanted each of them to know how much their support meant to me and how grateful I was that they were in my wedding!
One of my bridesmaids, Michelle, is a very emotional sort of girl. She is the type who cries at commercials and loves to watch old movies with a little carton of ice cream. When she read the poem that came with her silver bracelet, she was trying so hard not to start crying that it was almost comical! She was dabbing at her eyes (she was all dressed up and ready for the wedding, and she didn't want her make-up to run) and blinking furiously, and I tried not to laugh, but she was just so funny!
