I can't believe my mother,
Is set to be a bride,
It makes me feel so happy,
And so content inside.
You do deserve such happiness,
I really feel that's true,
For no one else in the whole world,
Is kinder, mom, than you.
So please enjoy yourself,
On your perfect wedding day,
You look so lovely in your gown,
And holding your bouquet!

My best friend's name is Caroline. Her mother got married a few years ago and this poem reminds me of her wedding. Caroline isn't the best poet, but she wanted to create a special poem for her mother's wedding day. Knowing that I love to write poems, Caroline asked me to create a poem that we could include in the card that she was planning to give to her mother.
I created the poem, of course, and Caroline included it with the card she gave her tp her mother on the day of the wedding. Her mother loved the poem, and Caroline didn't mention that she hadn't written the poem. I didn't mind at all! I was happy to have helped Caroline and her mother share a sweet moment at the wedding when her mother read the card.
Poems are just great tools to help us express our feelings to someone. Sharing poems allows us to give a little encouragement or to congratulate people in a special way! This is a wedding poem for mother that I truly think will make her day!
