Wedding Invite Verses
Whether wedding invite verses are short or wordy, humorous or sentimental, one thing is for sure: they're a great way to spruce up a wedding invitation!
Little Thing
We're having a little thing,
And we hope you'll swing on by,
We're keeping it a secret.
If you want to guess, just try!
It might involve some silver bells,
And throwing of some rice,
Two shiny rings and lots of guests,
And cake for us to slice.
We thought we'd see if you could guess,
And surely now you know,
We're speaking of our wedding,
And we really hope you'll go!

I used to attend a craft group hosted by a dear friend of mine. The group met on Tuesday nights at my friend's home, and everyone just brought whatever crafts or projects they felt like working on. Some women brought knitting or crocheting, some brought scrapbooking projects and others brought quilting materials.
One evening, a woman brought a ton of silver and white paper and proceeded to make the most amazing paper bells! She was making all of the decorations for her daughter's wedding, and the paper crafts she created were just extraordinary!
She told all of us how her daughter had asked her to make the decorations and how she considered it to be a great honor. During the next few weeks, she brought all kinds of wedding crafts to the group, and even recruited a few other women to help her with some of her projects! She made gorgeous little bells and tied them with ribbon for party favors, and they were just awesome. I suggested that she include a poem with each party favor, and she loved the idea!
Creativity is so important to give your wedding a special touch. Why not consider making your own wedding invitations, and including some wedding invite verses?
