One of my hobbies is making homemade greeting cards. I love working with paper - choosing different colors and textures, layering different pieces for creative effects, etc. The layout of a greeting card is certainly important (and a lot of fun to design), but the content of the card is what matters most.
Sometimes, I will just write a short personal note to the recipient. At other times, I think it is fun to write a little poem and include that in the card.
Since this poem is to be sent by one or more persons, it would work best when used by a couple, or by a group of friends who has chipped in to buy a gift.
Why not try making your own greeting card and including this poem with it? It doesn't take much time (unless you feel like working at a leisurely pace, of course), and it's very rewarding to see the results of your creativity. And, of course, it is a lovely gesture to include a handmade card with a wedding gift for the bride and the groom!
