A Wedding Day Poem

A wedding day poem intended for the bride after all of the festivities are complete is a perfect way to kick off your first night as husband and wife!

My Lovely Bride

My lovely bride, I want to say,
You are so beautiful today,
I couldn't ever ask for more,
Than to be wed and become yours.

I always will remember how,
You looked when we both said our vows,
So full of love and happiness,
I know that I am just so blessed.

Our wedding day has been so nice,
With cake and friends and lots of rice,
I love you so, my precious one,
You simply aren't to be outdone.

A wedding day is wonderful and exciting, but it can also be exhausting! From the moment the bride and groom wake up until the moment they leave for their honeymoon, there's a swirl of activity surrounding them - people asking questions, last minute preparations before the wedding, and, of course, the actual wedding and reception! They're so busy that they don't have much time to themselves.

My husband is a very romantic guy, and he's been known to write love letters and sweet poems for me on occasion. When a man does that sort of thing, it makes a woman feel extra special! It's a sweet way to show how much you love and care about someone.

If a man were to give his new wife this poem on their wedding night, it would truly set the stage for a lifetime of romantic gestures. That kind of personal attention, especially on such a very busy day, would probably just mean the world to a tired (but very excited and happy) bride! Please feel free to use this poem if you wish, but I suggest copying it in your own handwriting! That would make it all the more special. I think a wedding day poem is a lovely idea indeed!
