Wedding Card Verses

Writing wedding card verses to send to a couple after they are already married can be a challenge; why not use the poem on this page and include it with your card?

Happy Days

So now that you have gotten hitched,
The single life has all been ditched,
But that's nothing to stress about,
You're better off, without a doubt.

Your lives will grow, so will your love,
Each day a gift from up above,
Strong together, weak apart,
Keep one another in your hearts.

This card is just my way to say,
That you will have such happy days,
To good things you will now be heading,
Congratulations on your wedding!

Sometimes, we can all be forgetful. Who hasn't forgotten someone's birthday, or forgotten to mail a card on time? Everyone has moments of forgetfulness, and it doesn't mean that we are inconsiderate or thoughtless. I always think it's better to send a card late than not to send a card at all!

There are really two ways to go if you're going to send some late congratulations: acknowledge your lateness, or don't acknowledge it at all!! It's really up to you which route to take. Personally, I don't think it's necessary, unless you want to apologize. But a wedding couple is not likely to hold a grudge simply because your congratulations are a little late!

I like this poem a lot because it acknowledges that the couple is already married, but doesn't talk about the sender. Instead, it just focuses on the happy couple and the way their love will grow throughout their marriage. I think it's very sentimental and sweet!

There are so many different wedding card verses online, but I think this one is perfect for sending congratulations after the couple is already married!
