Wedding Blessing Poems

If you're looking for wedding blessing poems, I think you should take a look at this one; it talks all about God's blessings and how important they are to the bride and groom!

Blessings

We ask God for His blessings,
On this very special day,
We ask that He will guide us,
And that is what we pray.

Our wedding will be sacred,
With the dear Lord looking down,
We hope He'll bless our union,
As the church bells chime and sound.

Our goal shall be to please Him,
And to honor Jesus' name,
And as we start our wedding,
His blessings we proclaim!

There's nothing like prayer to fill people up with love and peace! Praying for wedding blessings is certainly not a new idea - most people who pray regularly would certainly pray about their own wedding!

Asking for God's blessings is more than just asking for the day to go smoothly and for all to have a good time; it has more to do with asking Him to watch over the day and to guide your decisions and choices. When praying for wedding blessings, you're also asking God to guide you in your marriage as well.

I think that's a lovely idea! It sounds like the perfect way to start off a lifetime of love together. This poem talks about those kinds of blessings, and it's really celebratory in tone. I think this would be a perfect poem for a couple who is really enthusiastic about their spirituality!

They could share it before the wedding day with the guests who will be attending. A wedding is a celebration, and as far as wedding blessing poems go, I think this one sounds perfect for an upbeat and exciting occasion!
