Wedding Anniversary Poetry

Some people think wedding anniversary poetry has to be very sappy and sweet to be successful, but that's not the case! It can be sentimental and yet not corny, as is demonstrated in the following poem.

You Should Know

It's our anniversary,
I'm happy as can be,
And I am just so grateful,
That you belong to me.

Our love, it is as strong as steel,
And it will never break,
And when I don't see your lovely face,
It just makes my heart ache.

Thank you for another year,
I truly love you so,
With every word, I am sincere,
I just thought you should know!

If there's one thing I know about women, it's that we love to be told we are beautiful. More specifically, we love being told that our significant others think we're beautiful. The opinion of our sweetheart is very important to us. That's why compliments go such a long way.

I'm not talking about flattery - empty words that are just meant to flatter are not meaningful at all. In fact, those kind of compliments actually take away from the real ones. No one really wants to hear that they are beautiful if they can tell that the person complimenting them is insincere. I'm talking about sincere compliments - the kind that come from the heart, the kind that make you feel like a million bucks - the kind of compliments we all love to receive.

This poem includes an entire stanza dedicated to the beauty of your sweetheart. It really conveys a passionate and sincere love. This kind of wedding anniversary poetry is very meaningful, and we all know that meaningful gifts are the best kind!
