Thank you for the gift,
It gave us such a lift,
It's special, yes it's true,
Because it came from you!
It made our wedding sweeter,
No other thought was neater,
We were just tickled pink,

Everyone likes getting gifts, it's true! Wouldn't it be a lovely surprise for your guests if you were to return the favor by sending a poem as your way of saying thank you for the wedding gift?
If someone did that for me, I would think it was such a sweet gesture! I guess I'm the type of person who really appreciates that kind of special treatment. After all, personal attention always makes people feel great.
I've been to many weddings over the years, and I can say from experience that the most memorable weddings are the ones where the couple did something a little bit different and a little bit unique for their guests.
