Sample Wedding Poems
If you are looking for sample wedding poems for yourself or for someone you know, then I would recommend reading the poem below. It does a great job discussing the fears a groom might have while taking part in the wedding, but then assures him that everything will turn out great!
Walking Down
Walking down the wedding aisle,
Seems like it's at least a mile!
Smiling faces, looking on,
The bride as lovely as a swan.
So tempting now to close your eyes,
Stomach full of butterflies,
Trying so hard not to trip,
Must focus now and get a grip.
This is not the time to falter,
As you now approach the altar,
You'll be married very soon,
And then enjoy the honeymoon!

A lot of men (and women) get very nervous before and during their weddings. It's understandable! You're taking part in a ceremony rich with tradition, making a huge commitment to another human being for the rest of your lives and it all takes place in front of an audience! Who wouldn't be nervous? That's the real question!
Whether you are a friend, family member or even the bride herself, this poem is a great thing to send to a groom-to-be to let him know that everything will work out just fine in the end. We tend to think of the worst scenarios when we get nervous.
Worrying about things like tripping while walking down the aisle and other wedding-related fears are normal, but with a nice poem like this one, everything can be put into a more realistic (and humorous) perspective.
You'll find a nice variety of different subjects when looking for sample wedding poems, and I sincerely hope that this poem can help many grooms-to-be to know that everything will be just fine!
