Romantic Wedding Poems
The thing I love about romantic wedding poems is how versatile they can be. Their subjects can range from the ceremony, the guests, the feelings leading up to the wedding and even, as you will see with this poem, the planning!
Planning
It just seems so romantic,
To plan a wedding day,
You work together as a team,
To set things just your way.
You plan out all the details,
You choose the wedding guests,
You taste some fancy wedding cake,
Deciding which is best.
A wedding day is lovely,
But the planning is fun, too,
It's just so full of romance,
For your fiance and you!

Almost any activity can be romantic if you are sharing it with the one you love. Most people think that the most romantic part of a wedding is the actual ceremony and reciting of vows. Those things are very romantic, of course, but other parts of a wedding are romantic as well!
What about all of the time spent planning the wedding together? Sure, there can be disagreements on who to invite or where to seat people and things of that nature, but most of the planning involves sharing ideas about organizing an event that will mark the beginning of the rest of your lives together. My husband and I had a wonderful time planning our wedding, and some of our fondest memories are from those romantic planning sessions.
Planning the wedding is kind of like a practice before the big event. There is excitement, compromise, laughter and love all throughout the process, just as it will be in your marriage. If you are getting married soon, try to plan at least some of the wedding together, as a team. You won't regret it!
While you're at it, make things even more special with romantic wedding poems such as this one to really make your fiancé's day!
