Poems For Parents Wedding

Poems for parents wedding ceremonies or renewal of vows ceremonies are pretty scarce, but this one is wonderfully sweet and cheerful, and is written for just such an occasion!

Truly Blessed

It isn't every day,
That one can simply say,
Congratulations, Dad,
For you, I'm truly glad.

It isn't all the time,
That wedding bells will chime,
For your lovely Mom,
Who's showing great aplomb.

As parents, you're so dear,
And your wedding day is here,
So I wish you all the best,
For you both are truly blessed.

When my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, they had a wonderful anniversary party. About six months later, they threw another big bash: a second wedding to renew their vows to one another.

After 50 years of marriage, they decided to get married all over again! I know my parents are both very romantic people, but I thought it was unbelievably sweet for them to go to such lengths to declare their love for each other.

There were guests at their second wedding who attended their first wedding! I thought that was absolutely incredible. It was so great for them to be able to renew their vows in front of so many dear friends and family members. I think everyone had an amazing time!

I included this poem in a card for them and I know they thought it was very special. If your parents are getting remarried or are going to renew their vows, feel free to use this poem. Many poems for parents wedding events are written for one parent or the other, but this poem is for them both!
