Everyone
The thing about a wedding
Is that everyone is tense,
The groom is very nervous
And the bride's not making sense.
Everyone is scared to trip
When they walk up the aisle,
Everyone is freaking out,
(But they all wear a smile).
And once the wedding's over,
Then it's time to have some fun,
And once the guests start drinking,
Then the party has begun!

No one is going to deny this simple truth: weddings are stressful. From the planning to the organizing to the special day itself, everyone is a little bit stressed out about something. The bride and groom are nervous and want everything to go perfectly, the wedding party members are hoping that they fulfill their roles without a hitch, and even the guests are concerned about how they look and whether or not their gift will be well-received.
I always think the best approach to take in a situation where people are stressed out is a humorous one! If you can laugh about the things that worry you, it puts things into perspective and makes everything seem just a little bit easier.
Giving this poem to the bride or groom, or one of the members of the wedding party would be a great way to lighten up the mood. I know that I was pretty nervous on my wedding day, and I was very grateful to the people who made me laugh! Free funny wedding poems are a great thing to share with each other.
