You probably want to choose something that you feel the guests will love, but you also want something that will set your wedding favor apart from the favors at other weddings.
I can think of several ideas that might help you with a little inspiration! I must suggest that you include a corresponding favor poem with whatever gift you choose - it will make it so much more meaningful for your guests! You could provide personalized lip balms (so that your guests may "seal your wedding with a kiss"), or perhaps give out personalized silk fans (to suggest love and flirtation).
You might consider customized fortune cookies (with messages written about you and your husband-to-be or bride-to-be), or even flower seed packets (with a poem describing how love grows). A lot of people choose to include little containers of candy, with messages describing the sweetness of love!
