Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky Wedding Poem
Astor Courts is where, Chelsea and Marc wed,
Bill was holding back his tears, bit his lip as he led.
Both attended Stanford, met in ninety-three,
Engaged last thanksgiving, when Marc dropped to his knee.
First dance was beautiful, it was "Feeling Good",
Cake was gluten-free and 4 feet tall it stood.
She wore a strapless gown, designed by Vera Wang,
Made of ivory silk, elegantly it would hang.
She danced with her father to, "The way you look tonight",
Hilary's pink necklace, did shine throughout the night.
An interfaith marriage, led by a Rabbi and a Priest,
Guests loved the ceremony, and the delicious wholesome feast.
Bill whispered a few words, before giving her away,
"The wind nearly knocked off, my new grey toupee."
Marc told the guests that she truly changed his life,
Proclaimed his love, he's blessed to have her as his wife
They did not succumb to all that celebrity hype,
To seek lots of attention, they are simply not the type.
An intimate wedding, where close friends and family attended,
A beautiful day it was - something truly splendid!

This was probably the biggest wedding of Summer 2010. It was fancy and elegant (meaning very expensive). There were 150 guests who attended. It was a private ceremony since only family and friends were invited. Big celebs like Oprah were not invited.
For me this makes a lot of sense. If you are not close with someone, than don't invite them to your wedding. Don't invite them just because they are a famous celebrity. Invite those who are dear and close to you and your partner. That's just my 2 cents on the matter.
