A wedding is exciting,
There's just so much to do,
But everything seems easy
When God's watching over you.
It's easy to feel anxious,

But if you pray to God above,

Just remember He is there,
And just have fun with everything,
And talk to Him in prayer!

What did you think? I really enjoy that poem. It is all too easy to get caught up in all of the planning and stress and worrying that comes along with a wedding, and this poem is a helpful reminder that you are not alone during the whole planning process.
I sent this poem to a friend while she was amidst the planning for her wedding, and she told me that it really did help to alleviate some of her stress and worrying. She said that once she was able to take a step back, realize she wasn't alone and turn some of her worrying over to God, she was able to focus much more clearly on the tasks at hand and actually was able to start enjoying the entire wedding experience so much more than she had been.
